Ratio Structural Engineering is proud to play a role in the continued growth of British Columbia’s LNG sector through our involvement in the early phases of a larger LNG facility in Kitimat.
As part of our scope, Ratio has been engaged to perform mooring analysis for Bridgemans’ advanced drilling vessels. These vessels are supporting geotechnical exploration in the deep-sea areas of Kitimat, where offshore anchors for the future floating LNG facility will be installed. This work is a critical step in ensuring the long-term safety and stability of marine infrastructure in challenging coastal environments.
This initiative represents more than just technical progress—it reflects a broader commitment to sustainability, inclusion, and regional development:
At Ratio Structural Engineering, we are committed to supporting projects that combine technical excellence with environmental responsibility and community impact. We’re honoured to contribute our marine engineering expertise to this important development in British Columbia’s energy landscape.
